Me & My Approach

Every wedding and every couples' story is different, but my ethos always remains the same and can be summed up with one word: relaxed.

I am there to document your wedding in the most creative way possible for the one-off, unforgettable day it should be. I prefer to capture people 'mostly' unaware, in a reportage style, as they are often the most beautifully natural photographs.

I’ll do my best to blend into the background, being as subtle and unobtrusive as is possible, whilst recording not only the feature parts of the day but also the small details, preparations and often missed moments which will help you re-live your wedding through the images for many years to come.

Of course, I will photograph the group and formal shots as necessary and will perform these as swiftly as possible so I can get back to doing what I do best. I prefer to keep these shots to an absolute minimum, more often no more than 10, so you can have more time for your own story, and get back to enjoying your day!

I love natural photography, so don’t expect me to dictate the flow of your day or set up lots of forced moments, it’s YOUR day after all! That doesn't mean to say I won't throw a few hints and tips your way when we're taking some couples pictures, we want you to look your best!

I will do my best to make you feel relaxed in front of the camera, I'll be there to tell you the time and to alleviate as much stress as I can. I'm there as more than your photographer for the day, I'm there to help in any way possible.

I'm always on time, I always double check my equipment and more often than not bring enough spare batteries to power a small country

I love my family, barbecues, good coffee and watching the sunset. I've always been creative and ran my own Graphic design business prior to jumping behind the lense.

I'll tell your story and capture your memories as creatively as possible, I love what I do, let me share that with you.

Couples who book me generally have a great sense of how they want their day to flow, are open to suggestions regarding the couples photography time and just want me there to watch and capture what I see throughout the day without influencing it, rather than making sure we have an individual lineup image of every guest.

If this sounds good to you then we could be a great match?
